Director of Operations and Engagement for Friends of Radnor Lake

Friends of Radnor Lake is seeking a versatile and mission-driven Operations and Engagement Director to help protect one of Tennessee’s most cherished natural areas. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the sole staff member of a small-but-mighty nonprofit, playing a key role in administration, financial operations, events, communications, community engagement and fundraising.

About the Organization
Friends of Radnor Lake (FORL) supports the conservation and preservation of Radnor Lake State Natural Area through education, volunteerism, and community partnerships. We collaborate closely with park leadership, volunteers, and donors to enhance the visitor experience and preserve the park's ecological integrity.

About the Role
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, connection and tangible mission results. You’ll oversee financial and compliance processes, coordinate board meetings, manage donor communications, support signature events like Radnor in the Round and Chestnut Art Show, and serve as a liaison between the board, the park, and the public.

Salary and Benefits

·        The annual salary range for the position is $80,000-$85,000. Benefits include healthcare stipend, 20 days of PTO, paid Federal and State holidays.
